Introduction

Salam and Hello!

Welcome to my website. I am foremost an English teacher who tries to encourage students to use
English and keep at improving it. Consistently trying to find new ways to make my lessons interesting
and up-to-date, this site will be a platform for me to share with you what I do in class and what I do
as an academic administrator.

I Am…

I’m an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Languages and Pre-University Academic Development (CELPAD). I am currently the Head of the English Language Department at CELPAD.

Interests

My main interest is the teaching of listening and oral communication skills. My other interests include metacognition, grammar teaching methodology and L2 acquisition.

Experiences

I have been teaching for over 20 years and have virtually taught all levels of proficiency classes as well as EAW and EOP courses at CELPAD and several other universities. i have been actively involved in developing curriculum and materials for various English courses. i also teaches Research Methodology as well as Teaching of Speaking and Listening course for TESL programme.
